Garret Bateman went after the AABCG land speed record in a Barracuda running twin-turbocharged 522 cubic inch Chrysler Hemi engine. This video takes you through the build-up to the actual run itself. The Shasta Roadster Team set a land speed record of 222.78MPH on this run after the driver earned his 150MPH, 175MPH and 200MPH licenses. The bummer of the video is they didn’t shoot the video of the record run because of an emergency. The final record: 222.78MPH.
